International Student Scholarship Program to study in Taiwan 2011 2012 for students of undergraduate postgraduate (master, doctoral and phd research) level.

I. NCTU International Scholarship

NCTU International Scholarships are available to international students with excellent academic and research records. Selected students may be awarded a monthly stipend and/or exemption from tuition and miscellaneous fees.

A. Eligibility: Outstanding new students entering degree programs at NCTU.

B. Amount:

(1) Undergraduate students: NT$7,000 per month and/or waiver of tuition and fees.

(2) Masters students: NT$10,000 per month and/or waiver/reduction of tuition and fees.

Academia Sinica, the foremost research institute in Taiwan, has set up the Taiwan International Graduate Program in order to attract young researchers from around the world to its campus for PhD programs.

Fellowships will be granted for applicants who receive admission. The stipend levels are about US$ 11,000 per year. Additionally, the support will be extended to two more years for those students who perform well academically.
