Overview
Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST) offers programs leading to M.S., Ph.D. and integrated M.S. and Ph.D. degrees. Students are expected to maintain full-time student status and continuous registration until completion of all requirements. It normally takes two years to finish an M.S. program and four years for a Ph.D. program. For a Master`s degree, students take a maximum of three years to complete their degree. For integrated M.S. and Ph.D. program, students have a maximum of eight years to complete their degree. Ph.D. students have a maximum of seven years to complete their degree.

The Nanyang President’s Graduate Scholarship (NPGS) is a scholarship scheme designed to encourage outstanding graduates or final-year students to take their first step towards a leading research career by studying for a doctoral degree programme (PhD) at the Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. Up to 30 NPGS awards will be made available in each Academic Year. Successful candidates will be known as Nanyang President’s Graduate Scholars.

I. NCTU International Scholarship
NCTU International Scholarships are available to international students with excellent academic and research records. Selected students may be awarded a monthly stipend and/or exemption from tuition and miscellaneous fees.
