SCHOLARSHIPS FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

UTS: Engineering offers scholarships to international students for its masters by coursework programs. Each scholarship will be awarded based solely on academic results achieved by the applicant in their undergraduate degree.

The next intake will be for Autumn Semester 2009. Applications close 8 December 2008.

The scholarships are available for the following courses:

Google has published information from Google Europe Anita Borg Memorial Scholarship 2009, which aims to promote women to results in the field of computers and technology as well as active role models and leaders. Scholarships are open to students that his last year bachelor’s degree or enrolled in master’s or doctoral degree (or equivalent) in 2009/2010.

Multiple scholarships will be awarded based on the strength of candidates’ academic background and demonstrated leadership. A group of female Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD student finalists will be chosen from the applicant pool. The scholarship recipients, selected from the finalists, will each receive a €5,000 (or equivalent) scholarship for the 2009/2010 academic year.

University College London (UCL) offers scholarships for UK/EU and international undergraduate students. The application procedure for international students is the same as that for UK/EU students. Full details of how to apply are available from the Applying through UCAS page. It is likely that the British Council office(s) in your country will have information about UCAS.

Competing for a place in a training UCL strong, and you must have a degree of similar level candidate for the United Kingdom. Asian Development Bank-Japan Scholarship Program

Funded by the Government of Japan

Qualified citizens od developing member countries of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), who intend to pursue postgraduate studies in economics, management, science and technology, and other development related field are invited to apply for scholarships under the Asian Development Bank-Japan Scholarship Program. The program especially welcomes quailed women applicants who have limited financial means to obtain university education.
